The Springwood Town Centre Project was discussed at the Council meeting on 15 December 2009.
Several amendments were made to the recommendations in the business paper. The amended motion was then carried - I think this was by a 7-5 vote. See below for the amended motion.
Brendan Luchetti, El Gibbs, and Janet Mays then filed a rescission motion, which means the original decision is put on hold until the next Council meeting, where it will be discussed and voted on a second time.
In response to this, Alison McLaren, Daniel Myles, and Mark Greenhill have requested a special meeting of Council on 30 December, to discuss and vote on the matter.
The rescission motion was defeated.
