Application for liquor licence at 159 Macquarie Road, Springwood

Hiwi Pty Limited and Potterspurse Pty Limited are the registered proprietors of 170 Macquarie Road, Springwood, which is almost directly opposite the site of the proposed packaged liquor licence at 159 Macquarie Road, Springwood.

Hiwi Pty Limited and Potterspurse Pty Limited objects to the granting of a liquor licence at 159 Macquarie Road, Springwood, for the following reasons:

  1. There are already sufficient liquor outlets in the area.
  2. A greater density of alcohol suppliers increases anti-social behaviour.
  3. Hiwi Pty Limited and Potterspurse Pty Limited are concerned that persons affected by alcohol may damage their property.
  4. Hiwi Pty Limited and Potterspurse Pty Limited cannot identify any positive benefit, whatsoever, or of whatever nature, to the community, if another liquor outlet is established.
