We the undersigned oppose the introduction of any large shopping
centre development in Springwood.
We believe that such development will damage the historical and
social character of our village.
We therefore ask the Blue Mountains City Council to cease all
negotiations and discussions with potential developers and to guarantee
to the Springwood community that no such development will take place.
Further, we ask that the Council meets with the Springwood community
to discuss the process for upgrading important community facilities such
as the Civic Centre and the Community Centre.
